Every so often, the doors of Shehu Sule College of Nursing Sciences in Damaturu open wide for a new set of learners. This year, the call is out for those who wish to step into the noble paths of community nursing and midwifery. The forms are out, the requirements are clear, and the process is already moving.
Programmes Available
Two routes are being offered, each running for two years:Community MidwiferyOpen to female candidates only.
Community NursingOpen to both male and female candidates.
It might sound like a long stretch of time, but those two years often fly by before you know it.
Eligibility Criteria
Before rushing to the application page, here’s the checklist you must tick off:Five credits in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
Results should come from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, with no more than two sittings.
NABTEB cannot be combined with another exam.
Awaiting results will not be accepted.

After Application
The story doesn’t end once the form is submitted. Successful applicants will later be invited for a Computer Based Test (CBT). The date and details will be shared on the college website. Candidates will also be asked to print their CBT slips.
