The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has formally disclosed the schedule of activities for the concluding and passing out ceremonies for the 2022 Batch ‘C’ Stream I Corps members. This noteworthy ceremony is confirmed to be held on Thursday, 12th October, 2023. It has been emphasised by the Director General of NYSC, Brigadier-General YD Ahmed, that the event will maintain a subdued profile, focussing on the essence of the occasion.

NYSC 2022 Batch ‘C’ Stream I: Schedule for Conclusion and Passing Out

The revered Director-General, Brigadier-General YD Ahmed, has officially sanctioned the completion ceremonies of the Corps members enlisted under the 2022 Batch ‘C’ Stream I. The event is slated for Thursday, 12th October, 2023 and is intended to be a discreet and unostentatious affair.
Comprehensive Programme of Activities:
Initial Phase: 28th September – 3rd October, 2023Employer Release: Corps members are set to be officially released by their respective employers during this period.
Job Awareness and Creation Week: There will be dedicated sessions for sensitising Corps members about various job creation and opportunities available post-service. The sessions are to be organised at the local government level, facilitated by respective officers and NYSCINDE officers.
Middle Phase: 4th October – 6th October, 2023

Registration and Clearing: Local Government Inspectors will undertake the registration and clearing of Corps members.


Final Clearance Sign-off: Zonal Inspectors are to sign the final clearance forms.


Questionnaire Administration: During this phase, questionnaires (Form 4B) will be administered to 30% of the passing-out corps members for feedback purposes.
Final Preparatory Phase: 9th October – 11th October, 2023Final Clearance Sign-off: Zonal Inspectors will continue signing off the final clearances.
Questionnaire Administration Continuation: Administration of Questionnaire (Form 4B) to the remaining 30% of the passing-out corps members will take place.
Culmination: 12th October, 2023Certificate Distribution: On the day of the ceremony, deserving Corps members will be awarded their Certificates of National Service at the Local Government level.
