For Diploma/National Diploma/Higher National Diploma ProgrammesFive credit passes in Basic Science Subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) in NECO, WAEC, GCE, in not more than two sittings.
For Certificate CoursesFour passes including English Language and Mathematics, plus two Science Subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Health Science) and two passes in any other two Subjects in NECO, WAEC, GCE, GRADE II or NABTEB in not more than two sittings.

Note: Holders of certain certificates with one year post-qualification experience can gain direct entry into the second year of specific courses.
