Gerar University of Medical Science has started its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening. If you scored at least 150 in JAMB or have relevant A-levels, and you're aiming for a health-related course, you can now apply. Gerar University of Medical Science (GUMED) has opened its Post-UTME and Direct Entry application portal for the 2025/2026 session. The school, which focuses solely on health and medical sciences, is accepting candidates into its undergraduate programmes across two major faculties.

GUMED runs programmes under the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences.

These courses are designed to train students for professional roles in the medical and health field.
Who Can Apply?
For UTME Candidates

To be eligible, you must:Choose GUMED as your first choice in the 2025 JAMB
Score at least 150 in UTME
Have five credits, including English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (in not more than two sittings)
If you didn’t select GUMED initially, you can change your first choice via the JAMB portal
Upload your O-level results on JAMB CAPS
For Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry applicants must:Choose GUMED as first choice in their Direct Entry JAMB application
Hold one of the following: A-Level, OND, HND, JUPEB, IJMB, or a relevant BSc degree
Have at least:A second-class lower division for BSc holders
A lower credit (10 points) in OND or HND
Three points in JUPEB or IJMB
How to Apply

Here’s a quick guide to submitting your application:Pay a ₦15,000 application fee.
Visit the GUMED application portal.
After filling the form, log in to track your application at the applicant login page.
Make sure your details are correct before submitting.
Check your email often. The school will send further updates there.
