BUK Post UTME Screening Form for 2025/2026 Admission


BUK’s online screening for 2025 admission runs from 30th September to 1st December. If you chose the university as your first choice and scored up to your course cut-off, you’re eligible. This article walks you through the full process, step-by-step.



Bayero University, Kano has set the ball rolling. The online screening form for the 2025/2026 admission season is now out.

If you’re hoping to join BUK this year, don’t wait till the last minute. Deadlines creep up fast.



From 30th September to 1st December 2024, candidates who picked BUK as their first choice in JAMB can register online. But there’s more to it than just clicking a few buttons.

Are You Eligible?

You must have picked BUK as your first choice in the 2025 UTME. That part is not negotiable.

Then check your score. BUK doesn’t have one general cut-off for all courses. They broke it down by faculty, and some courses are tighter than others.

A few are chill — asking for 160. Some are a bit more demanding. Others? Let’s just say they don’t play.

Step-by-Step: How to Apply BUK Post UTME

Let me walk you through it. It’s online, not hard, but don’t rush.
Step 1: Go to the Website

Start from the BUK website. On the homepage, look for “2025 UTME Online Screening Exercise.” That’s your first click.
Step 2: Login With Your JAMB Details

Type in your JAMB registration number as username. Use your UTME aggregate score as password.

Once you’re in, fill the form carefully. Your photo from JAMB will stick with you till graduation, so no drama there.
Step 3: Pay Your ₦2,000 Screening Fee

After filling the form, you’ll get a Personalised Payment Invoice (PPI). This comes with a Remita code.

You can:Pay online (ATM card, internet banking)
Or print the invoice and take it to any commercial bank

If you pay online, your acknowledgement slip shows up immediately.

If you pay at the bank, come back to the site, hit “check your payment”, then print the slip. Don’t skip that part. Many people forget and start panicking later.
Things You Must Not ForgetUpload your O’Level results to JAMB CAPS. That’s WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or whatever result you’ve got. If it’s not on CAPS, you’re wasting your time. Go to any JAMB office or CBT centre and sort it.
You can use two different O’Level results, but no more than that.
Blind and international students? No test for you. But you still have to register online. No shortcuts.
False info = disqualification. Don’t lie, no matter how small the detail.

Miss the deadline? You’re out. No late registration, no excuse.
