Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic has opened HND applications for 2025. If you’ve got ND with Lower Credit and one-year IT, this post shows how to apply before the deadline.



So, Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic—yeah, that’s the old Nasarawa State Polytechnic, just wearing a new name—is now selling HND admission forms for the 2025/2026 session.

And if you’re still wondering whether you need to have picked it in UTME or not, relax. This isn’t that kind of application. You only need a few key things: an ND, a year of IT, and results that can stand the heat.



Let’s go through it like two people trying to sort this out before the portal closes and life gets in the way.

First, Are You Qualified?

Before you start dreaming of studying Estate Management or Science Lab Tech, check that you meet these:You must have at least a Lower Credit in your National Diploma.
Plus one full year of Industrial Training (IT). Not six months, not three.
You should also have five O’level credits, including Maths and English. You can get them across two sittings, max.

If that’s you, great. If not, you might need to look at Pre-ND or maybe try again next session.
How To Apply (and What Not To Forget)

No need to go queue under the sun. Everything happens online.

Here’s how you do it:Go to the official IMAP admission portal.
Fill out the form. Don’t rush. Typos can mess things up.
Pay ₦5,322 directly through the portal. That’s the fee, no extra charges if you do it right.

Make sure your email and phone number are active. That’s where they’ll send any updates, and you don’t want to miss the screening invite because your SIM died last year.
