UMYU Cut Off Marks for 2025/2026 Admission Exercise

Umaru Musa Yar’adua University has released the cut-off marks for all courses in the 2025/2026 admission. Candidates must meet the stated scores to be considered for their chosen programme. Full list is provided below.

Every admission season comes with its own numbers game, and for Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, those numbers are now out in the open. Whether you’re aiming for MBBS or French, Law or Forestry, your score will decide if you make it past the first hurdle.

UMYU, once called Katsina State University before the 2006 name change, was set up to push the state’s growth — not just in classrooms, but in its economy, tech scene, and even politics. It runs both regular and distance learning, so students from different walks of life can get in on the action.

Now, back to the part everyone’s eyes are on — the cut-off marks.

What This Means for You

If your score matches or beats the mark for your chosen course, you’re still in the race. Fall short, and it’s time to either change course or try again next year.

For the full admission guide, check the UMYU Post-UTME form details or visit the official UMYU website. You can also ring the admissions office — though be ready, the lines can be busy this period.

Better to know your number now than to be caught dreaming later. After all, admission lists don’t have space for “almost made it.”
