Eligibility Criteria for SOBMAEFUTHA’s Basic Midwifery Programme

Before proceeding to the application stage, it is imperative to ensure you meet the eligibility criteria laid down by the institution. The School of Basic Midwifery has outlined three primary requirements:Minimum Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old by December 2023.
Academic Qualifications: Aspirants are required to have five O’level credits encompassing English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. These credits should have been obtained in no more than two sittings in examinations conducted by WAEC, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB. Note that NABTEB qualifications can only be combined with other NABTEB results.
Mandatory Documents: Each candidate must be equipped with a coloured printout of their examination photo card and evidence of Remita payment (e-receipt), to be presented at the examination venue.
How to Secure Your Place: The Application Process

The application process has been simplified into several stages to assist candidates in completing their applications successfully:Account Creation: Navigate to SOBMAEFUTHA’s Official Website and click on the admission link to create an account. You will be required to fill in your full name, email address, phone number, username, and password. However, please note that you will not be able to login until your account is activated.
Remita Payment: Go to Remita’s official website to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number using the GIFMIS CODE: 1000030448 or simply click here to make your payment.
Bank Transaction: Proceed to any commercial bank with the generated RRR number to make a payment of #15,000. Payments can also be made directly on the Remita platform using a debit card. Subsequently, make sure to obtain an e-receipt or teller, as you will need to upload this during the registration process.
Account Activation: Forward proof of your Remita payment via WhatsApp to 08138317048. Upon confirmation, your account will be activated, and you will receive a notification on your registered email and phone number.
Final Registration: Finally, log in to the admission portal to complete your registration and print out a coloured copy of the examination photo card, which must be presented at the examination venue.
