The Ministry of Health announces the start of the 2023/2024 admission process for the School of Basic Nursing, Nasarawa College of Nursing Sciences, Lafia. The admission form sales will run from 15th to 25th May 2023. Interested candidates can apply via the College's official website.



The Ministry of Health is pleased to announce the commencement of sales of admission forms for the School of Basic Nursing, Lafia for the 2023/2024 academic session. The window for form sales will open from Monday, 15th May, until Wednesday, 25th May 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission, applicants must possess five credits in SSCE/NECO or NABTEB. The required subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. Please note that only suitably qualified candidates should apply.
Entrance Examination

An entrance examination will be held on 27th May 2023 at 11:00 am. Candidates are encouraged to prepare adequately for the examination, as it forms a crucial part of the selection process.
Application Process

Interested candidates are required to visit the official website of the Nasarawa College of Nursing Sciences, Lafia at https://nascns.edu.ng to complete the application form. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to apply:Click on the “APPLY NOW” button and read the requirements for admission.
Create an account with your personal details. An email notification will be sent to the email address provided during the account creation.
Click on the email notification to continue with the application.
Proceed to make a payment by clicking on “Generate Payment Code”. Print the invoice generated and take it to any bank for payment.
After making the payment, return to the portal to log in.
Complete the application by filling in your personal data and educational qualifications.
Wait for a test invite via SMS and/or open announcement.
