The management of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri (FPNO) is now selling the supplementary forms for admission into its Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) regular/evening programmes for the 2022/2023 academic session.

The cost of Nekede Poly Supplementary Admission Form is Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) for ND applicants and Twelve Thousand Naira (₦12,000) for HND applicants.



Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for supplementary admission to the Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) programmes of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri (FPNO) for the 2022/2023 academic session.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The entry requirements for all National Diploma (ND) Programmes are as follows:Five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics obtained at not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO or NABTEB (O’level Examinations).
Possession of Appropriate JAMB subjects Combination for the course applied for.

Click on apply for admissions.
Select your programme type
Generate Invoice for application form
Pay Invoice at the Bank or online with your ATM/Debit Card
Proceed to any bank of your choice and make a payment of N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only using Remita Number (RRR). You can also choose to make your payment using your VERVE, VISA or MASTER CARD. If you choose the card payment option, you will be asked to fill the card details for the payment to be processed immediately.
Proceed to fill the Application form
On completing the application form, print your acknowledgment slip.
Click to pay for O’level verification.
Print O’level Verification Certificate (To verify if the O’level verification is successful or not and to verify if there is any need for correction and re-verification).

All application procedures MUST be concluded on or before 12 midnight of 28th February, 2023.

Applicants can start and complete this process from any location in the country. It is therefore advisable to minimize trips to Owerri for the purpose of completing the form.

PLEASE NOTE AS FOLLOWS:Candidates who did not initially choose any of the courses advertised above should utilize this opportunity to change course and upload their o’level result(s) on JAMB portal in a JAMB accredited CBT centre.
Candidates should ensure that their UTME subject combination qualifies them to study the course of their choice.
Candidates who chose our institution as 2nd or 3rd choice must change to Federal Polytechnic Nekede as their first choice before they will be considered for admission, and also note that any wrong information given disqualifies the candidate.

HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The entry requirements for all Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes are as follows:Candidates are required to possess National Diploma in their chosen programme from any recognized/accredited Polytechnic or Monotechnic.
Candidates are also to possess at least five (5) relevant O’level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO or NABTEB (O’level Examinations).
Candidates are required to have at least 12 months or 24 months post National Diploma Industrial Training Experience.

For details on the entry requirements peculiar to each of the Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes, candidates should visit the Polytechnic website www.fpno.edu.ng.

It is important to NOTE that any false data entry during the on-line registration will lead to disqualification of the candidate at anytime such is discovered.

METHOD OF APPLICATIONAll candidates MUST first go to the school’s website www.fpno.edu.ng. and click on “Application form’s link” on the home page under Student’s menu, choose HND to proceed.
Fill your Bio-data in the form and generate an invoice, print or copy out the invoice number, (you can do this on your mobile phone).
Proceed to Federal Polytechnic Nekede Microfinance Bank or any bank of your choice and make a payment of (N12,000.00) Twelve Thousand Naira only on Remita platform, using RRR number on the invoice you generated. You can also choose to make payment using your VERVE, VISA or MASTER CARD. If you choose the card payment option, you will be asked to fill the card details for the payment to be processed immediately.
Return to the school’s website www.fpno.edu.ng. click on “application form”, and complete your application process. Submit your data as requested and print out your acknowledgment slip. If you process your payment using your card, you will return to the portal immediately to print your receipt and acknowledgment slip.
