Candidates seeking admission to the University for the 2024/2025 academic year should note that the Post-UTME/DE online registration portal will open at midnight on Thursday, 10th October 2024, and close at midnight on Monday, 14th October 2024.
This extension allows candidates, especially NBAIS, NABTEB, and IJMBE applicants, to apply before the deadline.

This is an invitation for all First Choice UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who wish to study at SLU Kafin Hausa.

Eligibility Criteria for SLU Post UTME and Direct Entry
To apply for the screening, UTME candidates must have 5 relevant O’Level subjects at credit level, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
Direct Entry candidates must have at least a Lower Credit in National Diploma, Merit in NCE, or 7 points in IJMBE Advanced Level.
Candidates who scored 140 and above in the 2024 UTME but did not choose SLU as their first choice are also eligible, provided they change their institution to SLU via the JAMB website.

SLU Registration Procedure: A Step-By-Step Approach
Application Timeline
Online registration starts on Monday, 16th September 2024, and ends at midnight of Monday, 14th October 2024.
Application ProcedureVisit the SLU website at slu.edu.ng or directly at admissions.slu.edu.ng.
Log in using your UTME number and score for UTME candidates or DE number, state of origin, and gender for DE candidates.
Upload a passport-sized photograph and fill in your details accurately.
Upload your O’ Level results (for UTME candidates) or A’ Level results (for DE candidates).
Proceed to the payment section and pay ₦2,000.00 as the Post-UTME/DE screening fee via Remita.
After payment, generate and print your Acknowledgement Slip to complete your registration.
Post-Payment Steps
Once the payment is completed, generate and print the Acknowledgement Slip. Keep the following documents ready for the screening process:Acknowledgement Slip

UTME Result Slip or DE Registration Slip
SSCE Statement(s) of Result
Two recent passport-sized photographs
Certificate of Indigeneship
Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
‘A’ Level Statement of Result (for DE candidates)
Candidates must complete the online registration process within the given dates, as late submissions will not be considered.
