DESMAPOLY has opened its 2025/2026 National Diploma admission for full-time, part-time, and weekend programmes across its campuses. This article outlines all available courses, entry requirements, and how to apply. Deadline and test info are also included.



Delta State Maritime Polytechnic (DESMAPOLY), with campuses in Burutu, Kwale and Gbaregolor, has begun sales of application forms for 2025/2026 National Diploma (ND) admission. Full-time, part-time, and weekend programmes are on offer for candidates who meet the required qualifications.

Entry Requirements for ND Admission

You must have:Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects, all from SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB, at not more than two sittings
Each department has specific subject combinations. Below are a few breakdowns:
For Engineering Courses:

Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, and one from Tech Drawing, Biology, Economics, Additional Maths, etc.
For Science Programmes:

Maths, English, Chemistry, Physics, and one from Biology, Geography, or Tech Drawing.
For Environmental/Planning:

Maths, English, and a mix from Geography, Statistics, Chemistry, Biology or Art, depending on the course.
For Business and Maritime Transport:

Maths, English, and any three from Government, Economics, Civic Education, Commerce, Accounting, etc.

How to Apply

Fill the form and pay the ₦20,000 application fee online
Complete your registration and print two copies of the acknowledgment slip
