Edo State University Post UTME / DE Form 2025/2026
Edo State University is now accepting Post-UTME, Direct Entry, and transfer applications for 2025/2026. This guide covers who can apply, the steps to take, and what you need to get started.

Edo State University Iyamho has opened its admissions for the 2025/2026 academic session. The application covers three categories:UTME candidates
Direct Entry (DE) applicants
Transfer students from other universities
Whether you chose EDSU as your first choice or you’re considering a change, here’s what you need to know.
For UTME Candidates
You can apply if:You sat for the 2025 UTME
You scored the required cut-off and meet departmental entry requirements
You have five credit passes, including English and Maths, from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or similar exams
These credits must be in no more than two sittings, except for Medicine and Surgery, which requires one sitting
You can apply even if your results are pending
If you didn’t pick Edo State University as your first choice, no problem. You’ll need to request a change of institution through JAMB’s official portal, then complete the Edo University online form.
For Direct Entry (DE) Applicants
Direct Entry admission is open to those with:NCE (Merit), OND/HND (Credit), or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
IJMB, JUPEB, Cambridge A-levels, or any acceptable equivalent
At least two A-level passes in subjects related to your course
You must also meet the basic O’level requirements
For Transfer Students
Thinking of switching to EDSU from another university? You can transfer if:Your current university is NUC-accredited
You complete EDSU’s inter-university transfer form
You pass the school’s screening or interview
You have a valid JAMB admission letter from your current school
Your transcript is sent directly to EDSU’s admissions office
Your CGPA is not below 1.5
Application FeesUTME and Direct Entry: ₦2,000
Transfer applicants: ₦60,000
