KWASU is now accepting applications for its 2025/2026 IJMB programme. This one-year course helps students move into 200-level university without JAMB. Read on to check if you qualify and how to apply.



Kwara State University (KWASU), through its Centre for Advanced Basic Studies (CABS), has opened the 2025/2026 admission for the IJMB programme. This is a one-year academic course that gives students a straight shot into 200 level of any regular degree course, skipping JAMB entirely.

If JAMB didn’t work out or you want another route into university, this might be your chance to get in without repeating the whole process.


What You’ll Learn

Students in the programme will study regular A-level courses. Alongside that, they’ll get training in solar energy and ICT. These extra courses aim to give students practical skills, not just theory.

It’s a non-residential programme, so no hostel stay. You’ll attend classes, get the work done and prepare for direct entry.
Who Can Apply?

You must have:At least five credit passes, including English, in relevant subjects
Results can come from WASSCE, NECO, or GCE
All from no more than two sittings
