Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) has kicked off the State of Origin Verification Exercise (SOVE) for 2025/2026 admission. If you’re from Lagos and picked LASUSTECH as your first choice, this step is not optional. It’s the first gate to pass before Post-UTME.

Who Needs To Do This?
You must take part if:You’re from Lagos State
You picked LASUSTECH as first choice in the 2025 UTME
You scored 195 or above, or
You applied through Direct Entry
Anyone outside this box can skip this. This is strictly for Lagos State origin applicants.

Registration closes: Friday, 18 July 2025
Interviews hold between: Monday, 21 July and Friday, 26 July 2025
Your exact interview date will be printed on the application form, so don’t miss it.
What You Should Know Before Applying
This verification does not mean you’ve gained admission. It’s just part of the process for Lagos indigenes. You still need to pass other stages.
Also, if you’re not cleared during SOVE, you won’t be able to buy or submit the Post-UTME form. Simple as that.
