The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), has announced that its postgraduate admission form is now on sale for the 2025/2026 academic year. Both part-time and full-time programmes are open under the School of Postgraduate Studies, covering science, computing, and engineering fields.





Programme Duration for FUPRE Postgraduate Admission

The length of study depends on the college and the level of the programme.
College of Science and College of ComputingPGD: 2 to 4 semesters
M.Sc.: 3 to 6 semesters
Ph.D.: 6 to 10 semesters
College of Engineering and TechnologyPGD: 4 to 6 semesters
M.Eng.: 3 to 6 semesters
Ph.D.: 6 to 12 semesters

These ranges give room for students’ pace, though meeting the minimum period depends on steady progress.
How to Apply for FUPRE Postgraduate Admission

The application is done online only. Steps include:Visit the FUPRE postgraduate portal.
Pay the processing fee of ₦25,000.
Complete the form carefully, following the instructions given.

The application window closes on October 31st, 2025.

Applicants must arrange their papers properly in an A4 envelope, with name and form number written clearly at the back.Photocopy of university degree certificate(s)
NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
O’Level results
Academic transcripts and referee reports
