The Academic Board of Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare, has given the green light for the summer semester of the 2024/2025 academic session. The decision was reached at its 165th meeting held on 14th August 2025. For many students still patching up grades or managing spill overs, this comes as a chance to steady the ship.



Who Can Take Part In The ASCOEA Summer Semester

The summer semester is not for everyone. Only the following categories are listed:200 level students
300 level students for the 2024/2025 academic session
Spill over students
Amnesty students

It is, in essence, a window for those who need to clear backlogs or push through extra work before the next session rolls over.
ASCOEA Summer Semester Registration Fees

The fee structure is straightforward, yet varies with the number of courses:Registration form – ₦2,000
1 to 3 courses – ₦12,000
4 to 6 courses – ₦14,000
7 to 15 courses – ₦16,000

Students are encouraged to prepare their payments ahead of time, so as not to be caught unawares during the registration rush.

The board has laid down a clear timetable for the semester, almost like clockwork:Registration period: 6th October to 31st October 2025 (25 days)
Revision period: 20th October to 14th November 2025 (4 weeks)
Examination period: 17th November to 29th November 2025 (2 weeks)
Marking period: 1st December to 13th December 2025 (2 weeks)
Computation of results: 15th December to 21st December 2025 (1 week)
Vetting of results by Academic Board Business Committee: 5th January to 12th January 2026
Final consideration of summer results by Committee of Deans and Directors: 29th January 2026

This schedule gives both staff and students enough breathing room between each stage
