Yobe State University has published the 2025–2026 admission list. All applicants are urged to check their status on the JAMB CAPS portal and accept or reject promptly. Kindly read further for details on how to confirm.
The waiting game is finally over. Yobe State University, fondly called YSU, has made public its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic year. For thousands of hopefuls who sat through the Post UTME, this update is the green light they have been waiting for.
Where And How To Check YSU Admission List
At the moment, the admission status can only be confirmed through the JAMB CAPS portal. Candidates are advised to follow the steps carefully, patience is key.Go to the JAMB EFacility portal.
Sign in using your JAMB username and password.
Scroll until you find the Check Admission Status option.
Tap on Access my CAPS.
Finally, click Admission Status to view your placement.
If admitted, you must send ACCEPT or REJECT as a text to either 55019 or 66019. This must be done using the phone number tied to your JAMB registration.
For Those Still Waiting
Some candidates may see messages like Admission Still in Progress or Not Admitted. Do not lose heart yet. Such cases often change with time. Keep checking, refresh often, and stay watchful.

Many mobile users complain about not seeing the Admission Status page. What shows is only the welcome screen. A simple trick is to switch your browser to desktop mode. Chrome is strongly advised. Just click options, select Request Desktop Site, and the full page will appear.
