Al-Istiqama University has opened its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening for the 2025 session. This guide covers who can apply, the steps to take, and key deadlines. Read through if AUSU is your first or preferred choice.

Screening Now Open
Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila (AUSU), has begun screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. If you applied through UTME or Direct Entry, or plan to switch to AUSU, this applies to you.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify, you need to meet the following:
UTME Score: You must score 150 or above in the 2025 UTME. For some courses, the bar is higher. Check the AUSU cut-off marks.
First Choice: AUSU must be your first choice. If it’s not, you’ll need to change it at any JAMB CBT centre using the Green Card process.
Awaiting Result: You can apply with pending NECO results, but you must upload them by the end of November 2025.
Subject Combination: If your UTME subjects don’t match your course, the university may move you to a suitable one.
O’Level Results: Upload five credits, including English and Maths, plus three course-related subjects. You can combine two sittings. Results must go to both JAMB CAPS and the school’s portal.
How to Apply
Here’s the step-by-step process:Visit the AUSU admission portal
Click “Admission” and then “Online Form”
Hit “New Application” and fill in your name and phone number.
Use your phone number and password to log in.
Choose “Degree” under Application Type.
Pay the ₦20,300 fee (non-refundable).
Complete the form. Upload a passport photo (between 100Kb and 400Kb), then submit.
Check your Dashboard for updates on your admission.
What Comes Next?
After online screening, wait for a public notice from the school about the Physical Screening. That’s where they’ll check your documents in person.
