Bowen University has opened Post-UTME and Direct Entry admission for 2025/2026. This article covers who can apply, available courses, and how to complete your registration. If you're interested, now's the time to act.
Admission is open
Bowen University is now accepting applications for the 2025/2026 undergraduate session. Whether you’re coming through UTME or Direct Entry, you can now apply to study one of the many courses the school offers.
But before you jump in, make sure you meet the entry rules. For some programmes like Medicine or Nursing, the requirements are stricter.
Who can apply?
UTME candidates
To apply, you must:Sit for the 2025 UTME
Have at least five O’Level credits including English, in no more than two sittings
If you’re applying for Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, or Physiotherapy, those five credits must be in one sitting. Also, NABTEB is not accepted for these courses
Awaiting result? You can still apply
You must take part in the Bowen screening exercise
If Bowen wasn’t your first choice, you’ll need to change it on the JAMB portal, then complete the school’s form.
Direct Entry candidates
You qualify if you meet one of these:NCE, ND or equivalent with Lower Credit minimum
Two A-level passes in related subjects
Cambridge, JUPEB or IJMB passes at acceptable grades
HND holders may enter 200 or 300 level, depending on the department
You must also meet the regular O’Level requirements
All Direct Entry candidates must apply through JAMB
