FCFMT Post UTME Form for 2025/2026 Session | ND Full-Time


Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Tech has opened applications for its 2025/2026 ND programmes. This post explains who can apply, the courses available, and how to get started.



The Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology (FCFMT), Lagos, has opened its post-UTME screening for the 2025/2026 academic year. If you’re aiming for a National Diploma (ND) in any of their listed fields, now is the time to act.


General Entry Requirements

To apply, you’ll need:

Five O’Level credits in relevant subjects from WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB
These can be from one or two sittings
You must have scored 100 or above in the 2025 UTME
You should also upload your O’Level results to the JAMB portal
FCFMT must be your first-choice school on JAMB

1. Marine EngineeringCredits in: English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and one from Tech Drawing, Further Maths, Biology, etc.
UTME subjects: English, Physics, Maths, Chemistry
2. Fisheries TechnologyCredits in: English, Maths, Chemistry, Biology or Agric, and one of Physics, Economics or Add Maths
UTME subjects: English, Chemistry, Biology or Agric, Economics
3. Nautical ScienceCredits in: English, Maths, Physics, Geography and one from Chemistry, Tech Drawing or Economics
UTME subjects: English, Maths, Physics, Geography
4. Maritime Transport and Business StudiesCredits in: English, Maths, and any three from Economics, Geography, Physics, Biology, Accounting or Marketing
UTME subjects: English, Maths, Economics or Commerce, Geography or Government
5. Industrial and Labour RelationsCredits in: English, Maths, and three from Economics, Government, Bookkeeping, Literature or a relevant NCE
UTME subjects: English, Government, Economics or Commerce, Literature
6. Mechanical EngineeringCredits in: English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and one from Tech Drawing, Agric, Economics, Auto Mechanics, etc.

7. Computer ScienceCredits in: English, Maths, Physics, and two from Chemistry, Further Maths, Geography, Economics
UTME subjects: English, Maths, Physics, and either Geography, Economics or Chemistry
8. Hydrology & Water Resources ManagementCredits in: English, Maths, Physics or Geography, and two other science subjects
At least a pass in Chemistry and Biology required

9. Oceanography and Fisheries ScienceCredits in: English, Maths, Chemistry, and two other relevant subjects
