IMSU Post UTME / Direct Entry Form for 2025/2026 Admission
IMSU has opened its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening for candidates who picked it as first choice or are willing to switch. The application runs till 4th August. Keep reading to see who qualifies and how to apply.

Imo State University, Owerri has started receiving applications for its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening for the 2025/2026 session. If you picked IMSU as your first choice, or plan to do so, this is your window.
Who Can Apply?
To apply, you must have:
Chosen IMSU as your first choice in JAMB
Scored 150 or above in the 2025 UTME
Didn’t choose IMSU at first? No problem. If you meet the cut-off, you can switch to IMSU as your first choice through the JAMB portal for change of institution. Just make sure you do it before the application ends.
For Direct Entry Applicants
You need to hold one of the following:OND
HND
First Degree
A-level or equivalent in relevant subjects
You must also upload your results to JAMB. Without that, you won’t be considered. Those still waiting for O’level results should upload them once they’re out.
Application Steps
Follow this process carefully:Go to IMSU’s portal
Click on 2025/2026 POST-UTME/Direct Entry Application
Enter your JAMB registration number to check if you’re eligible
If yes, use your JAMB number as your invoice number to pay ₦2,000
Make the payment and generate your receipt
After 24 hours, return to the portal and complete your application
You may find it easier to use IMSU Microfinance Bank
Print your acknowledgement slip and bring it to the screening venue
Screening Test Date
IMSU hasn’t fixed the exact date yet. They’ll announce it later, so check your email or the school’s portal often.
Application Deadline
The form closes Monday, 4th August 2025. After that, the portal will stop accepting entries.
