Igbinedion University, Okada, has started receiving applications for the 2025/2026 academic session. Whether you’re applying through UTME, Direct Entry, or as a transfer student, the process is now live. Located in Okada, Edo State, the university runs various undergraduate programmes across several faculties.

Basic Entry Requirements
For UTME ApplicantsMinimum of five credit passes in English, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects
Results must be from WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB, and not more than two sittings
Candidates awaiting results can also apply but must have them ready by September 2025
Those applying for Law must also have a credit in Literature in English
For Direct Entry
Eligible if you have:A Level passes in at least two subjects
Diploma, NCE, or IJMB (credit or above) in relevant subjects
First degree in a related field
All Direct Entry applicants must also meet the O’Level requirements.
UTME Candidates
You must have sat for the 2025 UTME and met the cut-off for your chosen course. A valid JAMB registration is required.
Transfer Students
Students switching from another university must:Provide an official academic transcript
Present a signed JAMB transfer form
Send all documents to the Registrar at Igbinedion University or by email: [email protected]
Age Limit
The school prefers candidates 22 years and under, although exceptions may be made.
Accommodation
Every student will be housed in the Okada Wonderland Estate, the university’s on-campus residential area.

Application Process
Follow these steps to apply:Visit the official admission portal
Click “Register for Application” and fill in your details
Check your email for your login credentials
Return to the portal and log in
Start your application under “Application Record”
Upload your passport photo (colour, clear, 1” x 1”)
Click “Add online payment ticket”
Pay with Interswitch or Etransact using a valid ATM card or through a bank
Preview your form carefully and submit
Your photo becomes your official student ID if you’re admitted. So make sure it’s clear and fits the required size.
Screening
Once you submit the application form, the university will screen your documents. There’s no fixed test date announced yet, but you’ll be contacted if you meet the screening criteria.
