Glorious Vision University, Ogwa, Edo State, once called Samuel Adegboyega University, has announced the sale of postgraduate admission forms for the 2025/2026 session. The school is inviting qualified candidates across Nigeria and beyond to take up the opportunity. From PGD to PhD, a broad list of programmes has been laid out, spread across several colleges.





The new session kicks off on 6 October 2025, and the management has promised a smooth calendar with no tolerance for delays.

How to apply for GVU postgraduate admission

Candidates have two options, either apply online or pick up the form at the Lagos or Ogwa campus. The application costs ₦30,000 (non-refundable).

Make the required payment.

Once done, applicants should keep their receipts and forms safe for future reference.
Requirements for admission

The school has made the entry rules clear, based on the level of study:PhD: A Master’s degree with at least 60% average or 3.5 CGPA on a 5.0 scale. Those with 55%–59.9% (or 3.00–3.49) may apply for MPhil/PhD. Scores below 55% or 3.00 are not accepted. Such candidates are advised to complete another Master’s first.
Master’s: A minimum of second class lower.
Postgraduate Diploma: For candidates with third class, HND, or a first degree in a field different from their intended course.

These cut-offs, though strict, keep the standards firm.
